7th International Conference on Entrepreneurship (7th ICOEN)

Annual International Conference on Language and Literature

This collection contains selected papers from the Annual International Conference on Language and Literature (AICLL). This event was held in Medan, Indonesia on the 4th and 5th of November 2020, and was hosted by the Faculty of Literature, Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU), Medan, Indonesia.

The conference brought together academics from Indonesia and across the region to discuss the newest findings and innovations in language, literature and language teaching. The conference was particularly focused on examining the characteristics and use of language in varied areas of life, and on analyzing the effectiveness of different approaches for English language teaching.

This collection contains 60 peer-reviewed papers. International Seminar on Language, Education, and Culture

This collection contains selected papers from the International Seminar on Language, Education and Culture (ISoLEC): New Ideas and Trends in Language, Education and Culture. The event was held in Malang, Indonesia on the 26th and 27th of September 2020, and was hosted by the Faculty of Letters, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia.

The purpose of this conference was to identify and share leading new research and insights in language, education and culture from academics within Indonesia and across the region. The conference placed special emphasis on the meaning of cultural practices and how to preserve them in a changing world, and the development of effective teaching models, particularly with regards to the shift to e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This collection contains 43 peer-reviewed papers. This collection contains selected papers from the Culture, Personality, Society in the Conditions of Digitalization: Methodology and Experience of Empirical Research Conference, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, 19th-21st March 2020.

This event was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The conference considered how digitalization is affecting culture, individuals and society as a whole – both in Russia and more globally. The spread of technology is impacting all spheres of human activity, creating qualitatively new types of interaction between individuals and social groups. At the same time, however, there is a generational gap in the uptake of these new technologies, ease of use, and ease of access. This is creating a digital divide which is, itself, having a further impact on Russian society and culture.

This collection contains selected papers from the online conference Excellent Human Resource for the Sustainable Safety of Inland Water and Ferries Transport in New Normal Era (IWPOSPA 2020) held in Palembang, Indonesia on the 21st and 22nd of October 2020. The event was hosted by the Politeknik Transportasi Sungai, Dan Penyeberangan Palembang (Poltektrans SDP Palembang).

The conference was designed to provide a collaborative forum for educational institutions and government stakeholders in the transportation sector, facilitating the exchange of new research and industry developments in the region’s water transport sector, with a particular emphasis on sustainable safety for inland water transportation methods and the impact of Covid-19 on the water transportation sector.
